“The Aliens! The Aliens are coming!” the madman shouted. The guards were not surprised, they had heard this kind of nonsense before. Only, this time it was not a joke. Outside small aircraft appeared and people were being beamed up. You could clearly see the blue beams and people being sucked up all the while shouting “let me go!”
Then the mothership became visible, huge and visible miles in any direction, ominous sounds came from the vehicle and thousands of little UFOs travelled in and out of the huge vessel. This continued for days and literally millions of human beings had been sucked up. There was no telling who chosen to be abducted, no clear method.
Then the mothership flew off and for decades there was nothing to be seen in the skies. People were baffled but resumed their daily lives and activities. However, after some 70 years people appeared amongst the human race, people with strange capabilities such as clairvoyance, telepathy, and telekinesis. Some were recognized as long lost relatives. They had been “altered,” their DNA reprogrammed. Soon they started building strange structures, clearly of unknown origin.
They never communicated with words but with strange sounds and utterings. They wore strange aluminium costumes and helmets. After several months they, together, had build hundreds of structures. One was larger than the others and resembled a Mayan temple. One day, one of the ” altered” humans appeared on top of the temple and spoke in the human language. She could be heard by everyone on Earth as if she spoke not to their ears but to their minds.
“Greetings Earthlings,” he spoke. “We are the Vulgai, here to possess your planet. After watching your development and thirst for blood we have decided to intervene and alter the course of your evolution.” And now, with the Vulgai to provide humans with technology for medicine, science, and spacetravel mankind developed into a glorious and peaceful era.
