Ordering books is an undertaking in and of itself; to have a book for each occasion. Rainy day, sunny day, lazy day, good day, bad day, and so on.
Over the years I’ve accumulated a bit of a library on various topics. Many books are related to religion and mythology.
Some I acquired myself, some were gifts by thoughtful friends. Some in Dutch, some in English. Some fiction, some non-fiction. Some pious, and some completely impious (Bukowski).
Anyhow, today I am planning to buy another 4 books. Two English classics: King Lear by Shakespeare and Canterbury Tales by Chaucer. War and Peace by the Russian anarcho-christian Tolstoy, and one by Austrian psychologist Sigmund Freud – The Essentials of Psycho-Analysis.
All of them combined 14 euros.
